Ava Acro BASE

I placed my order yesterday for the new cutaway BASE acro harness.  Ava offers many sizes and lucky for me can make an XXL.  At 6'2" and 240lbs, my current XL Ava Acro harness is slightly small for me.  I also require a very large reserve parachute and Ava will customize the container for the bulkier size.

Custom colors are available at no additional cost.  I choose the same scheme as the example they show on their website.  Too many choices can be overwhelming for me!  I'll spend my time researching the most appropriate reserve canopy instead.

The Ava isn't a package deal like the Supair system.  The reserve isn't pre-installed and you'll need to purchase one seperately.  The benefit is that your rig will be sized correctly for your weight and all said, it's a bit cheaper.

I've  got a lot to learn about rigging BASE canopies and look forward to doing test deployments over the water.  I'll post more as I continue to learn about the system.
